The property is so beautiful and it's clearly very well maintained. Staff clearly care about this historic place. Staff was very friendly. Special shout out to parking valets and Blue Pig server, and cafe staff who we interacted with and were so kind. Blue Pig food was delicious, all of us loved our meals and thus returned again for breakfast the next day. It was chilly during our stay we just loved that a staff member kept the fireplace going with wood which was a special touch for our leisurely breakfast. Our room in south wing was more spacious than we expected and we loved the decor. We did not have a view in our room but loved sitting for a bit in the alcove between the 2nd and 3rd floor on the nice sofas with the gorgeous view of the gardens and ocean beyond.

Room 309 had a lot of noise from the kitchen up until 10:15pm. Luckily I'm a night owl and my husband's hearing is diminished. I was just surprised to hear so much banging, clanging and loud voices. We stayed in room 308 a month prior and we didn't hear anything. We still love it there!

I have been traveling to Cape May several times a year since childhood. It has grown on many ways, such as the arts, culture and historical learning opportunities. Cape May M.A.C also ensures preservation of the nation's oldest seaside resort. The town offers unique dining and shopping experiences as well wineries and countless activities all while maintaining Cape May's historical integrity!

Cape May is a beautiful place to relax and take in all the historical views.
The weather was bad but we still managed to enjoy the wineries and were able to go on the Whale Watcher excursion (2hours) and see some dolphins. The shops and restaurants are also a great experience.
We love checking out new places to have breakfast in. Overall, Cape May is great to visit in the summer, as well as in the Fall.

Horse & carriage tour with the history of Cape May.
Horse & carriage tour with the history of Cape May. So many beautiful homes. There is much to enjoy at Cape May. It's just a matter of choice and how much time available. Lots of interesting shops which we did not visit. We did visit the Church down by the Washington Street shops. Drove by the Emlen Physick house.

The beach is right across from the hotels.
The beach is right across from the hotels. Variety places to dine for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Arcade on the boardwalk. Different options of ice cream and dessert locations. Shopping stores. Bike riding for the family. It’s a great location for relaxing, families or couples of all ages.
This B&B is perfectly located on the beach block in a quiet area of Cape May. The building and grounds are beautiful and there is plenty of porch space to enjoy. The staff is very pleasant and attentive. Not only do you get a delicious made to order breakfast, but they also serve tea and sweets late afternoon, and wine and antipasto early evening. Bikes, beach chairs, umbrellas and beach towels are available for all to use. We will definitely be going back!
Breakfast was delicious and the timeframe for it was very generous. Parking situation was very spacious and easy to work with - super appreciated in a place like Cape May! Location was incredible, so close and convenient to downtown and attractions. Staff was very friendly and engaging, it almost felt like being guests at a friend-of-the-family's home. The hallways and room were very bright and even smelled nice.
This is a lovely historic beachfront hotel that really tries to keep the tradition of a calm, relaxing beach vacation. There were excellent amenities, like beach chairs and umbrella included, and the atmosphere and location can't be beat. Our group spent a lovely evening on the porch with some great drinks and bar snacks. The service of the bellhops was really excellent.
Great location close to the end of the boardwalk. Walking distance to great bars, restaurants, and shopping. You can see the light house with beautiful views on the beach at the end of the boardwalk, and eat at a cute breakfast/lunch restaurant on the beach there. The pool was nice with a cute yard and pretty flowers.
The access to Cape May beach and the hotel chairs and umbrella service was very good. The outdoor pool had plenty of chairs and the snack bar/bar poolside was a nice feature. Staying in a room with elevator service is the way to go at this sprawling location.
Great room in a victorian-style house. Friendly staff and nice setting. A highlight were tea-time and the snacks and wine for supper. We were here before, this was our 2nd stay and we plan to return next time when in Cape May.
A good hotel all rooms with sea views . Cooking facilities . The bar is on the front of the property we were 3 floors above which was a little intrusive but also entertaining at times . Good parking .Fabulous views .
The location was excellent. It is a relatively older hotel in Cape May, but well kept and maintained. The room included all that you would need for an enjoyable stay. The staff was professional and courteous.
Large balcony with ocean view. Microwave and small refrigerator/freezer. Very comfortable bed and sofa. Hathaways restaurant connected to hotel is great. Plenty of parking with entrance doors close by.
We arrived, parked the car and didn’t use it again until we checked out. This hotel is within walking to many restaurants and Washington St. not to mention the beach is right across the street!
Excellent hotel, very close to the beach.
Clean and very spacious room
Lovely pool area
Lovely town, although quiet.
Easy drive to Wildwood if you want a boardwalk and amusements etc
Great place! For a more reasonable price since not on beach, but simply perfect. Just a few blocks away from beach, shopping and all the Cape May goodies. 😎 I’d stay again.
I come every year to Cape May for my birthday. I love the beach, the town & the whole atmosphere. Hotel Macomber is located perfectly in the center of everything.
The location of the Icona was perfect as well as the appearance and cleanliness of the hotel. We will definitely stay here again as we had a wonderful time.
We really liked the room, and the view. The location was perfect being directly across from the beach. And the service on the beach was a great addition.
